North Coast Region

The MLPA North Coast Region includes all state waters along the California coastline from the California/Oregon border to Alder Creek, near Point Arena.  MPA planning for this region is currently underway through the MLPA Initiative.  Once the planning process is completed, specific MPA proposals for the region will be presented to the California Fish and Game Commission by the MLPA Blue Ribbon Task Force.

Monitoring planning for this region will begin following completion of the MPA planning process.
